The Cookout, which was an all-Black alliance of six members, pushed all of its members into the final six of the show, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. The alliance's goal was to crown the first Black champion in the show's history.

Prather is dubbed "America's Favorite Houseguest." In his CBS profile, Prather said his goals were to make genuine connections and friendships with each of the houseguests and "reiterate that we are playing a game and avoid bringing personal matters into game decisions."
