New Milwaukee Concert Venue Slated For Summerfest Grounds

An indoor live music venue is set to open near the Summerfest grounds in 2023.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Madison production company FPC Live announced it will start building a new concert venue complex in Milwaukee starting in 2022.

The project will include two venues that have seating for 800 and 4,000 people, and will be built near the Henry Maier Festival Park, the company said in a statement.

Construction will start in early 2022 and the venue will open after Summerfest 2023, the company said. Concerts will be hosted in its rooms year-round.

Milwaukee World Festivals, Inc., which operates Summerfest, will lease the lot to Marquee Ventures, LLC, a Madison-based company. Marquee Ventures will develop the project and lease its spaces to FPC Live.

FPC Live already works with Milwaukee World Festivals, Inc., by booking talent to the American Family Insurance Amphitheater and BMO Harris Pavilion.
