Police said they believe a shooting that injured an 18-year-old Wednesday night near Brady and Water Streets stemmed from an argument

MILWAUKEE, WI β€” A shooting that appeared to stem from a verbal argument left an 18-year-old injured near Milwaukee's Brady Street entertainment district Wednesday night, according to police.

It happened near the intersection of Brady and Water Streets around 11:55 p.m., police said. Media reports noted the shooting happened near Swing Park.

The 18-year-old received treatment for non-fatal injuries at a hospital, police said.
