Spirit Halloween Plans To Open At These Milwaukee-Area Spots In 2023

WISCONSIN — We've just made it to August, but several Halloween stores are planning to pop up soon around greater Milwaukee.

Spirit Halloween plans to open about five locations in the Milwaukee area with more spread out around Wisconsin. Several are listed on the chain's website as open in August or "coming soon."

Stores will be opening up in a variety of old retail spaces like a former Kmart, former Bed Bath and Beyond locations, Kohl's, Forever 21 and others.

Here's where to find the shops around southeast Wisconsin:

• Former Forever 21, 5766 North Bayshore Drive in Glendale.
• Former Kohls, 5300 South 76th Street in Greendale.
• Former Bed Bath and Beyond, 605 Main Street in Brookfield.
• Former Bed Bath and Beyond, 1110 North Port Washington Road in Mequon.
• Former Charming Charleys, 1160 West Sunset Drive in Waukesha.
• Former Kmart, 2211 South Green Bay Road in Racine.
• Former Dress Barn, 1670 South Main Street in West Bend.

According to the seasonal chain's website, visitors can find costumes, decorations, props and more. The shop sells costumes based by theme and age for adults and kids alike, while those looking to spice up their yard can find tons of decorations.

The retail chain also touts several officially licensed lines of merchandise for costumes and decor like Ghostbusters, Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice, Scooby Doo, Spongebob Squarepants and more.
