 Drama critic Mortimer Brewster’s engagement announcement is upended when he discovers a corpse in his elderly aunts’ window seat. Mortimer rushes to tell Abby and Martha before they stumble upon the body themselves, only to learn that the two old women aren’t just aware of the dead man in their parlor, they killed him!
Between his aunts’ penchant for poisoning wine, a brother who thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt, and another brother using plastic surgery to hide from the police—not to mention his own hesitancy about marriage—it’ll be a miracle if Mortimer makes it to his wedding.

We're pleased to present Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School from August 12 to 16, 2024! Over 40+ class options to choose from -all ages are welcome!
The Irish Fest Summer School features classes that showcase the rich culture, history and traditions of Ireland and Irish America, past and present. Come learn to play the Irish fiddle, flute, tin whistle, guitar, harp, Celtic music styles, and more from master musicians. Or take a discussion class and learn about Irish history, Irish language, and culture! Our Celtic arts classes offer hands-on learning for everyone! The Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School is part of CelticMKE.
The class schedule is organized into three start dates:
Monday through Wednesday Evening Classes (6:30-8:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
Tuesday through Thursday Day Classes (9:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm start times on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Tuesday through Thursday Celtic Kids Camp (9:30am start time on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Friday Morning Sampler and Workshop Classes (9am and 10:45am start times, Friday only)

Forest Exploration Center

Join us for this very special opportunity to experience the forest and forestry from two unique perspectives. Two Wisconsin nature experts&nbsp;will&nbsp;co-lead a special forest exploration that draws from their combined six decades of experience as a forester and a wildlife biologist for the Wisconsin DNR. The hike will include engaging, hands-on&nbsp;wisdom in sustainable forestry and the identification of trees, plants, and birds. Enjoy stories about Wisconsin’s wildlife, and learn what it's like to have a green career in forestry while you explore the Forest and adjacent habitats. Appropriate for all ages. Friendly dogs on leash are welcome.

On Thursday, August 22, I will be hosting a group SUP Yoga class at Paddle Pewaukee.

​If you've never tried this before, do not be intimidated! I promise, it's fun!
We will meet at the dock where the staff will help size you up to your paddle and get you set up on your board. They will provide a life jacket for you as well.​
We'll paddle as a group out to a small island in the lake where the water is calmer and we can "anchor" using a dumbbell attached to a cord on our boards. That way, we can all float in the general vicinity while enjoying our practice.
Most people wear a swimsuit, or shorts and a t-shirt. Yes, people do occasionally fall in (and sometimes they jump in intentionally to cool off), but it's no big deal and party of the fun. We'll be at a depth where you'll be able to stand and also won't hurt yourself if you do take a dip. 
All participants should plan to arrive 15 minutes early to find parking and get set up with your board. You will be required to sign a waiver with Paddle Pewaukee. We'll begin paddling out to the island promptly at 6:15pm and I'll have you back to the dock by about 7:30, in time to watch a gorgeous sunset.
