Wauwatosa Student Inducted Into Collegiate​ Honor Society

The college junior from Wauwatosa, a theatre major at Knox College, has been made a member of the honor society of Phi Beta Kappa.

WAUWATOSA, WI — A Wauwatosa student who attends college in Illinois has been named a member of a prestigious honor society.

In a news release, Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, said the was inducted to the Phi Beta Kappa society at the end of the 2019-2020 academic year.

The student, Marion Frank, is a junior working toward a degree in theater. Frank was recognized for the achievement in the 2020-2021 convocation.

The university said its Phi Beta Kappa chapter was founded in 1916 and is the fourth oldest chapter in Illinois. It's also the state's first chapter at an exclusively undergraduate liberal arts college. Only 10 percent of colleges and universities in the country have Phi Beta Kappa chapters.
