Seems like Anthea and Jeff were very close; best friends before married. Seems like Anthea wasn’t a volatile person. That said imagining she would have been fairly understanding if Jeff revealed his homosexuality albeit understandably possibly initially upset that he hadn’t fessed up before the marriage. Makes more sense to me a jealous homosexual lover. Jeff may have not wanted to reveal that possibility as it would implicate him as possibly being complicit in the murder and gotten him criminally charged at minimum under Brunei homosexual laws.

Why is an Australian podcast playing so many American propaganda commercials?! It’s so distracting from the story

The episodes are done well, and it’s good storytelling. It feels a little too much like the reporter has already made up his mind that the husband is guilty, though, and keeps presenting the slight evidence they have that could possibly lean in that direction, meanwhile, not spending enough time on what seems like pretty compelling evidence that he could not be the killer. there’s too much time spent on the fact that he now has male significant others. Feels a little heavy handed.
