ATLANTIC CITY — A new concert stage in front of the Island Waterpark at the Showboat Resort Atlantic City will host the Allman Brothers-themed Peach at the Beach festival Saturday.
Mykal Rose of Black Uhuru will kick things off at 3 p.m., followed by Karina Rykman at 4 p.m. Trouble No More will perform the Allman Brothers' album "Eat a Peach" in its entirety at 5 p.m., before Dogs in a Pile takes the stage at 7:15 p.m., and Joe Russo's Almost Dead wraps up the event with two sets at 9 p.m., organizers said.
There also will be four waterpark sets. DJ King Mega will perform at 11 a.m., followed by DJ Logic at noon, Dogs in a Pile at 2 p.m. and Uncle Jesse at 3:15 p.m.
The festival is rain or shine.
The Peach Music Festival began in 2012 as the first-ever Allman Brothers Band-inspired festival. It is traditionally held at the Pavilion at Montage Mountain and Montage Mountain Ski Resort in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

LiveNation is producing Peach at the Beach in partnership with the Allman Brothers Band. LiveNation has produced various beach concerts and festivals in the resort, including Phish and the TidalWave and Adjacent music festivals.
Peach at the Beach is the city's only beach concert this year. The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority said it could no longer fund them.
With no Atlantic City Airshow this August for the first time in 21 years — other than skipping 2020 due to COVID-19 — don't expect the city to feel empty, tourism experts say.
Tickets for Peach at the Beach can be purchased at livenation.com. They range from $79 for general admission to $99 for general admission and waterpark access to $229.50 for the VIP package to $349.50 for Super VIP access. There also are $39.50 tickets for a pre-party performance by the Disco Biscuits and $19.50 tickets to the after party with Marco Benevento and Doom Flamingo.
According to an FAQ on the Peach at the Beach website:
Small, portable umbrellas without pointed ends are permitted. No full-sized, oversized or beach umbrellas will be permitted.
Blankets cannot be setup near the stage, including VIP areas.
Clear, reusable bags are welcome inside the festival venue as long as they are 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or smaller. No clear plastic shopping/grocery bags will be permitted. Hydration packs that are 2 liters or smaller and clutch purses/wallets that are 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches or smaller do not have to be clear. Medically necessary bags are welcome. Hydration packs must be empty upon arrival.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
A security checkpoint will evaluate all guests and bags entering the venue.
