ATLANTIC CITY — Two city men were arrested Monday for their alleged involvement in separate stabbings while a teen is wanted in a shooting that occurred that afternoon, police said.Â
James Knight, 37, Isaiah Byrd, 29, and a 17-year-old were each charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.Â
Knight and Byrd were sent to the Atlantic County jail, while the juvenile remains at large.Â
Police responded to Tennessee and Atlantic avenues at 8:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a fight between two men that led to one being stabbed, police said Friday in a news release. The victim, a 20-year-old from the city, was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus.Â
Officers obtained a description of the suspect, Knight, and took him into custody. He was found to be in possession of a knife and had a warrant for his arrest, police said.Â

Later that morning, officers responded to Pennsylvania and Arctic avenues at 9:13 a.m. for a report of a fight between several people, police said.Â
A 32-year-old city resident was stabbed during the altercation, and while an officer was speaking to him, the suspect, Byrd, was seen running into a nearby residence, police said.Â
Police found Byrd, who attempted to change his appearance, in the building and placed him under arrest. He also had an active warrant for his arrest, police said.Â
At 1:49 p.m., a 15-year-old girl entered AtlantiCare suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.Â
Officers responded to the hospital and determined the shooting took place in the 300 block of Rosemont Place and that it was accidental, police said.Â
The 17-year-old was charged but is not in custody, police said.
