Captain Kidd Treasure Hunt: The 60th annual Cape May Captain Kidd Treasure Hunt will take place July 21.
The free event will begin at 1 p.m. in front of the Beach Patrol headquarters at 238 Beach Ave.
Children ages 3 to 10 are invited to follow Captain Kidd in search of buried treasure. Children will be broken into three age groups: 3 and 4, 5 through 7 and 8 through 10.

Cape May Baby Parade: The 91st annual Cape May Baby Parade will be held July 26.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Congress Street and Beach Avenue. The procession down Beach Avenue will conclude at Convention Hall near Howard Street.

Participants are invited to Convention Hall immediately following the parade for the awards ceremony conducted by the parade’s grand marshal, Queen Maysea. Trophies will be awarded in five categories: Beach Baby, Decorated Baby Carriage, Walking in Fancy Dress, Walking in Superhero Outfit and Decorated on Wheels. There also will be an award for Best Overall Entry.
Rain date is July 27.
Registration is free to participants 12 or younger. Registration and judging will be held at Congress Street and Beach Avenue beginning at 10 a.m. Pre-registration will be available until 4:30 p.m. July 25. Southern Ocean Signature Social: The Hackensack Meridian Southern Ocean Medical Center Foundation will host its annual Signature Social on July 26 at The Farm on Main at 450 Main St. in West Creek.
Proceeds will support the Stafford Township hospital’s surgical services expansion and the transformation of its entire surgical suite.
The surgical expansion project, slated to cost $31.4 million and take place over 30 months, will include the enlargement of six operating rooms to better accommodate local and minor procedures, a new pre- and post-procedure area for patients, and the extension of the sterile processing department.
The project also is expected to reduce patients’ wait times.

The North American Grappling Association will bring the Battle at the Beach Mixed Martial Arts Tournament to the Wildwoods Convention Center Aug. 3 and 4.
Battle at the Beach mixed martial arts tournament: The North American Grappling Association will bring the Battle at the Beach Mixed Martial Arts Tournament back to the Wildwoods Convention Center Aug. 3 and 4.
Aug. 3 will feature children 13 and under competing to win kids championship belts in each division: novice, beginner, intermediate and advanced. Aug. 4 will feature teens ages 14 to 17 and adults competing in various divisions for championship titles.
Doors open at 8 a.m., and competitions begin at 9 a.m.
Registration and spectator fees can be paid online through July 31 at naga.smoothcomp.com. The spectator fee is $15 prior to July 13 or $20 for adults at the door and $10 for kids under 10 at the door.

Leadership Cape May County: The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation has announced open registration for Leadership Cape May County.
Leadership Cape May County is a nine-month program that combines in-room course work with field study. Participants will learn about leadership styles, strategic thinking, creative problem solving, effective communication, change management and conflict resolution. The program will expose participants to things happening in the county as well as issues facing the area.
The program is designed to develop informed, committed and qualified business, community and civic leaders for the benefit of the area.
Tuition is $799. Scholarships are available to qualified applicants. The application and all supporting materials must be submitted by Aug. 15.

Last year, more than 100 attendees participated in the annual Jewish Family Service Card Party at Harbor Pines Golf Club, playing mahjong, canasta and bridge. This year's party will be held Aug. 22.
Jewish Family Service Card Party: The 10th annual Jewish Family Service Card Party will be held Aug. 22 at Harbor Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township.
The party will benefit the Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore. Attendees may choose to play mahjong, canasta or bridge. There also will be door prizes and auction baskets.
Participants are encouraged to organize their own table with friends and family. All others will be randomly assigned to a table. Players must bring their own cards and/or game set. Auction basket tickets are 10 for $25 and provide a chance to win prizes including gift cards, hotel stays and wine.
Cost is $100 per player and includes a lunch buffet.
