Positive: Editing video content is very simple and efficient, you can set up templates for things you reuse regularly. I like how you can easily add annotations to video productions. I like how easy it is to record video and sound.

Negative: It would be nice to have s script editor in the app. Sometimes the scroll bar doesn't move effectively. I would also like to see more pre-built effects.

Summary: It allows me to accomplish this task extremely quickly and easily. It's very easy to start recording a video and then start. It provides us with the best editing features that allow us to edit.

Positive: I love the fact that I can create amazing screenshots, it provides good quality video recordings. You can edit videos directly form the interface. It's a great way to record demos or presentations.

Negative: It has sometimes happened that certain recordings are lost without a trace. It would be ideal to add functionality to download a video after it has been shared. I would appreciate being able to edit videos in more depth.

Summary: There are very simple features that suit my needs, it allows easy sharing of content via links or copying the image. It dramatically speeds up your ability to communicate with each other.

Positive: It's great for quick demos and tutorials. I love the ability to annotate screenshots. It fits perfectly into your workflow. I like being able to take screenshots quickly and reliably. This tool makes it easy to share images and videos.

Negative: It has some glitches when annotating an existing screenshot, I've been experiencing other minor bugs. Sometimes the resolution doesn't took as clear as I want.

Negative: I would like to have an easier way to send screenshots via email. Sometimes I am unable to make some edits to screenshots. The editing tools should appear as a fixer bar.

Negative: I didn't like that you can't move the app window around on the screen. The video capture feature can be a bit slow at times. There's also a slight delay in starting the recording at times.

Positive: I like the ease of editing that the tool offers, it works well most of the time. The video editor works very well and has a lot of features. It is an extremely easy to use screen recording software. I like the fact that it has a built-in editor.

Negative: The support is excellent and the product is perfect for my personal taste. I have not had any problems since using this amazing tool.

Summary: I love Camtasia. I haven't tried many other software because this is so easy to use and high-quality.

Positive: 1) It was very easy to learn how to edit videos in Camtasia
2) I also use Camtasia for my interviews for my consulting business
3) The available tools are powerful and drag and drop to apply
4) Using the templates and the library makes it easy to reuse work and give videos the same look and feel (branding)

With Camtasia, I get my videos looking quite professional without breaking a sweat.

Negative: 1) When migrating to new versions, the videos made on previous versions need conversion. It's easy, but other software (not for video editing) doesn't need this step.
2) Editing and managing the templates is a bit tedious. That would be one of my requested features to easily access and change the templates.

Summary: Having no experience with video editing, this was the first software I used. Made the process very easy!

Positive: Easy to use!

Summary: Love this software and how quick and easy it is to create small reference snippets to guide my team visually in how to use a particular piece of software for things like new user training, or just a refresher. Because of the visual medium, it's not always necessary for me to capture audio, but it's very easy to add call outs where necessary if you want to highlight a button or action.

Positive: - Easy to capture areas
- Easy quick edits (call outs)
- All project files are in one place
- The quick capture bar is nice to use and tells you what's turned on and being captured and what isn't

Negative: - Can take a while to export (but that's true of any product really)
- Editing audio takes a little bit of getting used to (but once you figure it out, it makes sense)
- Haven't worked out how to capture audio from my M1 Mac (worked on my Intel Mac but haven't honestly invested too much time into capturing system audio)

Summary: I have been using Camtasia for over 20 years. From what it was when they started to now, there has been a tremendous improvement to make it easier to use, more professional in appearance (especially the final product once produced) and still remain an economical option. I used to get looks like I was crazy to use Camtasia when I would bring it up at industry conferences. Now, I am ahead of the pack as more and more people are using it.

Positive: Very easy to use, has great assets to work with. The part that I have enjoyed the most is the constant work to improve the software so that it is on par with programs like Final Cut Pro. Still not completely there yet, but when looking at cost and ease of use, I will take Camtasia any day.

Negative: As with any software, it seems like when a major update or new version of the software is released, there are some hiccups. Luckily, they are good to get those fixed and a new, better update sent to the users.
