Biography

With a diverse background in psychology, public health, and nutrition, Lauren strives to bring energy and excitement to the world of public health and the classroom.  She currently teaches KINE 2330, Nutrition and Behavior. In addition to being an adjunct professor, she currently works with Well-Ahead LA as the lead heart disease evaluator.

Lauren received her Masters in Public Health Nutrition from Tulane University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Organizational Sciences from George Washington University.

Her research interests include food access, social determinants of health, community interventions, and dietary behaviors.
