Compatibility requirements and region availability for Pixel Watch

Network and device compatibility

To connect Google Pixel Watch, you need a compatible Android phone with Android OS version 8.0 or newer (9.0 or newer for Google Pixel Watch 2 and 10.0 or newer for Google Pixel Watch 3). iOS phones are currently not supported.1

Note: If you're in a supported country and using a supported carrier, but can't find the Google Pixel Watch app, check your Google Play Store account to confirm that the address on file is within a supported country or region.

LTE cellular connection

The 4G LTE option for the Google Pixel Watch series is unlocked at the time of purchase. This allows you to activate it with a compatible carrier.

Important: Both your Google Pixel Watch and phone must use the same carrier for the LTE connection to work.

If you activate a 4G LTE plan for your Google Pixel Watch LTE, your watch will connect directly to your mobile carrier. This will allow you to stream music, make and receive calls and text messages, and contact emergency services without your paired phone nearby.

Safety Signal is only available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Germany for Google Pixel Watch 2 and 3 4G LTE.
