This Adorable DJI Drone Has a Bear Face on it

Like cute things? DJI has something you're going to love.

The drone maker has teamed up with the global character brand Line Friends to release a special edition version of its Spark drone that sports the adorable bear face of Brown, one of Line Friends' most popular characters.

"Similar to other things we carry in our bags, a drone is becoming a lifestyle accessory," DJI Senior Communication Manager Monica Suk said in a statement. "This special edition we are launching with Line Friends will take this concept even further and make storytelling and sharing exciting, and a part of our everyday life."

DJI Line Friends (Brown) l Spark drone

DJI called this as "its first characterized drone," perhaps hinting others are on the way. Line Friends characters are based on virtual stickers and emoticons from the mobile messaging app Line.

The Line Friends (Brown) l Spark drone is priced at $399; it comes with the aircraft, one battery, three pairs of propellers, a remote controller, two RC cables, one USB charger, and one Micro USB cable. It's available for purchase at DJI flagship stores and online in North America, China, Hong Kong, and Korea.

The palm-size gesture-controlled DJI Spark selfie drone earned a "good" rating in PCMag's review last year.

"It works well for selfies and quick shots, but battery life is short, the video editing process isn't as easy as promised, and flying with your smartphone is kludgy," PCMag's Jim Fisher wrote in the review. "If you want a drone, but don't want to have to worry about learning to fly one like a pro, the Spark is worth a look."
