A man was killed Wednesday afternoon at a home in Gwinnett County, police said.
The homicide occurred in the 6200 block of Josephine Road, an area just south of Buford Highway and near Norcross. Investigators said they focused their efforts on a house where they found a man shot to death around 3:30 p.m. The victim was not publicly identified.
The shooting appears to have happened after an argument between the victim and at least one other person, authorities confirmed. The motive remains unknown.
Officials told Channel 2 Action News that a suspected shooter fled the scene and remains on the run. A description of the suspect was not provided.
