Green light can’t be turned off

It’s a nice little device, but had to return it because there’s a bright green light that cannot be turned off - it’s bright enough that if it’s in your room, you wouldn’t be able to sleep. If you don’t mind that, it’s pretty good! It really should have some button to turn that light off though.

Feels flimsy and cheap

I wasn't impressed by this charging dock, I ended up returning it.

For charging Joy-Cons, it's alright. If you want to charge a controller, I found the USB port to be sort of 'weak'.

I will try my best to describe it, when plugging it in, it's fine. The trouble comes when removing the controller from the dock, there is no good leverage to pull the controller and the USB port sticking out doesn't feel solid enough for me to be confident with it. I felt that it was just a matter of time until either the USB port on the dock breaks or that it ends up breaking the USB port of the controller.

Last thing, the plastic ABS feels quite cheap.

This thing looks perfect. It does what it's meant for. The only gripe I have is how hard it is to slide in the joycons in and how hard it is to plug the pro controller. I have to hold that thing down on the table while I pull with quite a lot of strength on my pro controller to disconnect it. I'm so scared I'm gonna wreck my 100$ controller that I stopped using that thing pretty quickly. Now it's a joycon only charger for me.

Cheap and bad design

When taking it out of the package, the whole thing feels cheap and flimsy. It says that it can load both joycons and pro-controllers. We were only able to charge a pro-controller once, and now it doesn't work anymore, it's like it can't detect when a controller is in. It can still charge joycons, but the design is so bad. When it's on, the lights are also on, and they are BRIGHT, they light up the whole room. Very bad purchase, I will not be making that mistake again and will not be buying from this brand again.

Loose charging dock

The charging slot for the regular controller has a very loose feeling, doesn't feel secure even to hold the controller for display. Felt cheap. Not sturdy. So I returned it.

2 stars for the quick delivery - product does not work at all and is being returned. Chose this due to the great reviews but must have received a defective one. Ah well. I rarely review products even though I'm a prolific Amazon customer but I thought I should share the bad news. Seems to have worked just fine for many others though.

Wanted to love this.... However the pro controller doesnt sit on dock properly so it wont charge it... have to use the cable. Otherwise it was ok. Fulfills its purpose

Pro Controller doesn't seat correctly and this could damage the controller or charger. Do not use as charging dock for the switch, same issue as the controller. Spend the extra money and get a charger that actually fits the hardware. It may work with Joy Cons, but I am unsure if it charges 4 at once.

It's a nice idea but the connections aren't good. The joypad charger sits away from the base meaning the pad is solely held by the USB C plug, rather than resting on the stand. The joycons slide into the charger nicely, but there's no click to hold them in place and they wobble.

All in all, I was disappointed with the quality and returned it.
