Great safe water ANYWHERE

This is the second one I have bought. One for me and one for my daughter. I've seen gripes about filter taking too much room and having to suck hard.. don't listen to them. This is a SUPER water bottle. I have the 24oz and bought the 18oz for my daughter. Clean safe water is essential for health. Weather it's in emergency or camping... you WILL have safe water. I work in an establishment which has water lead warnings at all sinks and water locations so. I now use this instead of plastic water bottles. The water tastes very good.

no idea where the carbon filters go there is no place to screw then on the lifestraw go bottle plus how does the filter work ? water does not pass through the filter the filter just sits in the water that is like telling me put this filter in a lake and the water is safe to drink ? sorry but no , water must pass through filter for it to be filtered plus you have to suck the water out the little spout , no thanks i want to pour the water into my mouth terrible design , not well thought out

Hard to drink out of.

We purchased for its water purification properties. That was our priority. But there are some headaches we didn’t anticipate. The bottles are very heavy. The do not fit in regular cup holders. When on an airplane they pressurize and over flow when you open to drink. You’ll need to break the seal on the actual bottle by opening the entire lid first every time. We have only used with the lifestraw so far ( as that was the intended purpose for this bottle specifically) but they are not easy to drink out of. You need to suck pretty hard, but once it gets down to 1/3 it gets even more difficult.
I can’t rate the water purification ability as I don’t know for certain. I do not find it changes or improves the taste of water. For the price, it is not a flawless design.

TERRIBLE for airplane travel!

I was using the pitcher at home and am still very happy with it. So I figured I’d start using the water bottle too! Initially,I loved this water bottle. Took it to work— could fill up from any spigot and still have clean water. Fine when on car trips..THEN I took a 3 week trip to Asia. THIS BOTTLE IS USELESS ON AN AIRPLANE! When the top is removed to take a sip,it erupts like a volcano and spews water until you can get your mouth on it and suck a sufficient amount to make it stop. So, you say, just unscrew the whole top a bit first to release some pressure before trying to drink. As it turns out,the top tightens on the plane too and is impossible to unscrew.! These were some long flights, so eventually I’d HAVE to drink and always got wet with erupting water no matter how fast I got my mouth over the drinking spout. A genuinely HORRIBLE experience! It was also difficult to unscrew the top at other times too. my son has a different brand of filtered water bottle which has NONE of these problems. I had also bought him one of the Lifewater bottles,which he’s soooo glad he didn’t bring and will never use because of my bad experience. Expensive and 100% useless as a travel bottle, especially when flying..but also when needing to get the top off to refill at times. Sadly and surprisingly ineffective. A total waste of my money.

I bought this bottle specifically for a trip to Africa. This is a heavy water bottle. Nice color. I was hoping if would keep my much needed water cold. Well, I never found out because the top leaked water all in my backpack each time it was filled. The item was returned immediately. Cannot recommend.

Non functional on an airplane

I took this with me on a long trip around Asia. This bottle erupted like a mini water volcano when opened to drink on the plane. Having wet legs for an 11 hour flight is not a good thing. Also drinking water during an 11 hr flight is essential. When I tried to unscrew the entire cap to release pressure it was too tight. I had bought a second bottle for my son and he was relieved he hadn’t brought it on this trip.

When I’m walking with my bottle it will sometimes disconnect from the top and fall. At first I thought it was me ……. It’s not. Now, I try to hold it from the bottle which is big.

Dont like the fact that using it in the heat every time I opened it water would squirt out all over I quite using it! Big disappointment.
Also the pressure in the plane I presume made it also spurt out all over.
