Top critical review
3.0 out of 5 starsConfusing layout!

**I'm saying 'finished' on this journal but I appreciate it will/should take a full year to complete fully.**
I am a big fan of Kirsty Gallagher. I have been a member of Lunar Living previously, and I have read her first book, and I follow her on socials. She is incredibly relatable and breaks what can be a complicated topic in to more manageable chunks. She makes things so easy to understand and her energy and positivity and passion is infectious.
I preordered this journal and was really looking forward to reading and using. There are lots of lunar journals out there, and I was hoping that this one would be different purely because of my admiration for Gallagher and her style.
Reading the introduction to this book I had such high hopes. When it got to the interactive 'journal' section with the prompts I was left a little confused over the layout. It breaks the new moon and the full moon into completely separate chapters. I appreciate the rituals involved are separate, but Gallagher spends a long time in the introduction of this book explaining that the new moon intentions should be reflected upon with the full moon rituals. I find it difficult to link each new moon and full moon intentions as they are just so separated within the journal.
I think it would have been much better to have it in chronological order so that reflections and references were easier. Just doesn't make sense to me. I would love to know Kirsty Gallagher's reasonings for this layout.
I will use this journal throughout the next year, and will continue to support Kirsty Gallagher but feel very disappointed with this. The prompts are useful and interesting, but the confusing layout was the main disappointment for me.
