Fantastic - finally, a great solution

Firstly, let me state that I am a hairy guy - and while I trim my chest and body to keep it under control, I don’t like the back hair at all. I find it unsightly, but difficult to manage effectively. I’ve had various electric trimmers, and found the Mangroomer to be the best of those - I’ve had 2. I also tried waxing - very expensive, time consuming and painful - and it doesn’t last I was always a little sceptical of the wet/dry blade shavers, as I thought they would be painful/unconfortable. How wrong I was. I cannot praise this BakBlade enough. I’ve had it for a few weeks now, and it has changed my world 🤣. Firstly, it is easy to use - very ergonomic, and easy to get to all the right places. Secondly, and most importantly - the result it gives is the best I have ever had. ..even compared to when my partner has shaved my back using the electric trimmers. This is by far the closest shave, and lasts me about 10 days before I need to do it again. Thirdly and finally, the kit you get is just excellent - 2 replacement blades and a nifty little sucker gadget that allows you to hang and store the BakBlade in the shower nice and neatly. For anyone who has a hairy back, take my word for it - get one of these. You won’t regret it.

Not quite what I expected

Have to say a little disappointed. Perhaps my fault for not reading the description thoroughly but I assumed this would be like a shaver and thought it was an electronic item (for the price). Essentially just a razor on some plastic.

I also find it rather scratchy but am sure that will ease as I get used to using it.

That said, it does a job and leaves you feeling good.

So going to gym training...not particularly bodybuilding but anyway....if you train being waxed or shaved chest, back and arms enhances you, well that's the limit I will go to.

So to get waxed you will probably pay absolute minimum £30 for that and probably triple that depending where you go.

So does Bakblade do the job? Well I did research on youtube as I think a lot of us do, And people were raving about it. How quick and effortless smooth etc.

My conclusion have to using it wet with some dove soap and water (same as what I shave with) is that it does work effortlessly, takes hair off easily and safely in no time at all. I have moles not really protruding but it didn't cut them did see bit of scrape/ blade rash nothing to write home about. Obviously doing your front (Careful round nips of course) the blade holder can come of and you can use it that way but I just left it on the stick.

So final conclusion...I thought the price around £50 seemed a bit steep when purchasing it as looking and looking at it you would probably guess it would be about £25 -£35 and the quality looks good/ok . You get 2 blades already installed and 2 spare. Apparently on YouTube they last ages. So for the price of getting waxed perhaps once and the ease of use compared to any other electric bodyshave or regular small wet blade's..yes it's worth it I expect it
and the spare blade's to last quite some time.

But would you really need the 3 blade device. The 2 blade's work excellent.... perhaps if you were mega hairy even then I'm not sure you'd need three.

I have a some what hairy back and in the past I've needed someone to help me with clippers. With this, I got much better results by myself, really impressed. Took some getting use to but I'm happy. Would be nice if there was alittle flex in the head but I think that's why there is a Pro version. Still happy, could just do with being 5 or 10 quid cheaper

I've always been a hairy guy and while I wanted to do something about it I thought I couldn't as I'd always have to rely on someone else for the back areas. This thing works like a dream. I've used mainly as a dry shaver as my hair is fine. It does take a bit of getting used to and I did scratch a little on the first few goes but that's as expected over a large area and nothing that doesn't dissappear.

This product comes with replacement blades also which is a great bonus.

With the summer upon us, it's going to make getting the suntan lotion on a lot more effective.

I was on the fence about this. Mainly due to the cost and apprehensive having never used one of these before. My back hair was making me a bit conscious when swimming, my body is mostly normal but my back is particularly hairy. So I bought this and used it, dry, it works!
My back is extremely smooth, absolutely no nicks or lumps/bumps. I used it on my chest, which is sparsely covered and there are some bumps there. Normally I use a regular shaving blade, which never causes bumps so I'll go back to using that on my chest area. I've moisturised everything and after 20 minutes I had no irritation or itching. The instructions says blades should last 5 - 6 uses so I'll pickup some spare blades in a couple of weeks.

If you're on the fence, go for it. This is a top product and I had no issues reaching any area. Just read the tiny 2 page instruction manual and go for it.

I put off updating to this new version for a couple of years due to the price but finally decided to bite the bullet and I’m so pleased I did. Blades last ages. I always shave dry keep my hairs quite short / don’t let them grow out which I think helps. I have a pretty hairy back. I highly recommend paying out for it. I have never cut my self once. I don’t use too much pressure.

After coming out as trans i needed a way to deal with my very hairy back, super sensitive skin means waxing is not an option.
Wasn't very sure about this, thought it might be a bit of a gimmicky scam.

But it really worked, a little finicky to get everything at first but after some practice its great.
