The best body hair shaver I have ever had

I am extremely happy with this purchase. It is double-sided so it handles well with both longer and shorter hair. The shaver is waterproof so it can be used really easily under the shower. The side with shorter blades rotates so it's very easy to use it on body parts that are harder to reach. The product comes with a small brush which is quite useful with cleaning. The small black bag is also a really nice add-on, as it's quite useful for storing the shaver. The product additionally comes with a British plug charger (I ordered in UK, this may differ in other countries).

Battery life usually lasts for me for around 3 uses. After that the shaver's power weakens and even though the product still works, it has issues with shaving hair in one go, you usually need to repeat the shaving to have smooth skin or recharge the battery.

The new version is a lot weaker motor takes forever shave compared to my Wahl Hair clippers which take 5 seconds older version was lot quicker it's okay not worth the price anymore no more than 30 the motor is totally weak.

I thought this was a good purchase until I bought a new trimmer which is cheaper and superior. The trimmer part is not that great but to be fair the close shaver is decent. I would certainly not buy this item again and would not recommend it. It broke after 12 months. It does not hold its charge and randomly turns itself on.

Cuts ok nothing like video

It will say cuts in one fell swoop feels lacking multiple passes but better then most, bought because supposed to prevent ingrowing hairs and burn… it doesn’t and multiple passes irritates even more. Might as well stick to wet shave. Nice idea though

I primarily bought this to tangle with body hair, a task it failed at utterly miserably. The shaving side failed to catch any hairs at all unless I pressed it down overly hard- to the point where I felt like I was going to break the head off, and even then it ripped out hair more than it shaved. The trimmer side (once the measurement had been removed,) served slightly better, but painstakingly trying to shave away chest hair with a trimmer is an exercise in frustration and futility, and on more sensitive areas it quite painfully cut and rashed. I can't comment on its efficacy when it comes to the face, but if you're looking for a body razor, pass, pass, pass.

That being said however, Phillips customer support was absolutely fantastic, super quick and professional, so that saves this from being one star.

This is a replacement purchase the first one I had lasted 5yrs, this one scratches my skin. I purchased a spare blade, still not as good as the previous model Philips, what have you done wrong here?

Good overall. Provides a good shave and trim. However it broke within 1 year of using about 1x per week.

However, it was within the warranty period so I received a new replacement. Nevertheless, the product doesn't seem like it will last.

I'd say that if you're happy with the warranty period, then buy it but only expect the product to last around that long.

Charging cable wouldn't stay in the socket

I think the socket in the shaver was either not fitted correctly during manufacturing or had broken as the charger cable wobbled about and sometimes charged, sometimes didn't. I returned it and purchased an alternative instead.
The shaver did, however, seem to feel pretty 'premium' and was very comfortable in the hand.
