I really wanted to like this book because it deals with subjects I find fascinating, but I quickly lost patience with the author's repetitive verbosity. I finally gave up when he hammered a theme of a good branch of Freemasonry, supposedly from the line of Adam's third son, Seth, and a "spurious" branch from the line of Adam's first son, Cain. There's no such thing as a 'white hat' among those who swear an oath of atrocity. Not worth your time, effort, or expense.

I’m a complete novice when it comes to religion, although I was able to navigate the information. I like how the author links information to conclude his theories. My one criticism is the personal opinion throughout the book, which at times is judgemental and not in line with my own values and way of thinking. He also claims that all that is written is factual and demonises ancient beliefs. As a ‘free thinker’ I did find this hard to comprehend. I am learning and researching and at this point, I do not feel we can categorically say that ALL within the bible is factual, so if you are a thinker such as myself, these aspects will dampen the read somewhat.

Firstly, I believe that the Genesis 6 “sons of God” were indeed fallen angels, exactly as many places in Scripture confirm. I do not believe that any part of the Bible needs to be twisted to conform to denominational notions. As such, I stand with the author with his basic thesis. I have studied the Nephilim for many years, and am about to teach a three part study in church. But, boy, is this book hard to follow!
The author goes out of his way to prove Bible facts with myths and occult history. There are several great books on the subject, but this isn’t one of them. I found myself becoming confused after the third chapter. The commentary of Masonic books became utterly boring. I couldn’t continue with this book for several reasons. It is poorly written, longwinded, repetitious, and fails to pay close attention to what the Bible actually says. His discussion on Nathaniel / John is beyond credibility.
This is not the book you need if you are wanting to research the Nephilim from a Biblical perspective.
