Oh my gosh, don't even waste your time looking anywhere else. I bought this in May 2024 for $41 and I am thrilled with it. It was very easy to set up.
I weigh around 280 lbs. I'm tired of getting on scales and leaning forward to see the results over my boobs and then my heels come up and the weight changes. Aaargh! This scale is a great size so both of your feet easily fit on the platform. Once it detects your weight, it beeps and the weight lights up and stays there long enough for you to see.
No tapping on the scale. You walk up and step on the scale and wait for the beep. It's very accurate (compared to a couple doctor's offices). The lit up numbers are large and very easy to see.
Before it arrived I worried it might be too big to fit, but it's only a couple inches larger than standard scales. No big deal. I got the silver; it looks so nice and it's surprisingly easy to keep clean.
My husband loves it, too. I highly recommend this to everyone.

I bought a version of this exact scale almost 3 years ago and it worked pretty well for most of that time. After a year or maybe 18 months of usage I noticed that it started having more and more trouble settling on a number. At first it was barely noticeable but by the end of my time using that scale it really never settled on a weight (it didn't beep and stop measuring).

I'm still giving the scale 5 stars because when it was working it actually works quite well. It arrives at a weight quickly and more importantly repeats that same weight if you take more than one reading. I can't say the same thing about other higher capacity scales especially in the price range of this scale. The scale also has a nice wide platform that is easy to use even when you're in the upper end of its maximum weight.

Basically, you should expect to replace this scale every couple of years. It offers good value though if you can get it for a good price.

I love this scale. No matter how many times you step on it, you will get the same results. Some scales give you a different reading almost every time. I love the low profile to the ground and the very large platform to step on. The numbers are really easy to read and the beep is loud enough to get your attention but not obnoxiously so. Very sleek looking and will look great anywhere. It is a larger, but thin, scale so just make sure you have room for it. I got two so I would have one upstairs and downstairs. It is great for people with certain disabilities or for seniors because it is only about an inch off the ground and has a generous-sized platform. It also weighs up to 550 pounds. Great purchase!

My wife and I have been using an old fashioned bathroom scale that is probably 40 years old. The old scale did not give us much confidence in it's accuracy. Problem Solved! Wow this new scale is sleek and modern looking with easy to read digital display that reads to the TENTH of a Pound. We believe the readings are very accurate and consistent. As an example...weighed in prior to bathroom use for urination and weighed in again afterwards and the change was reflected by a 1/8th of a pound lose. Absolutely an amazing product for a fair price. We wish we would have upgraded sooner.

I am nowhere near the maximum weight for this scale but wanted one with a larger platform since I am a senior and unsteady on my feet. I didn't feel secure on my old scale since it had a plastic base and was lightweight so when stepping up onto it sometimes would tip until both feet were in place, plus the display didn't light up anymore even with new batteries. I have never heard of this brand and was skeptical on the reliability but didn't want a glass top scale due to safety risks. When I saw this scale I was pleased with the reviews I read, so I decided to give it a try. It was delivered the same day I ordered it...BIG perk for me. It was easy to set up as it was already calibrated to "lbs" instead of "kg" from factory. I inserted the batteries (yes, found taped to the box), tapped to calibrate, and it was ready to use within minutes. It was within a pound of my old scale reading so I found a good starting point to continue with my weight loss program. I have not found any option for downloading an APP nor do I wish to have one. Also, after stepping on the scale and the final weight reading is displayed, it flashes 3 times but never does beep. If that means my scale is defective, I certainly don't miss the beeping and will continue with it as it is. I basically wanted an affordable digital readout scale with a backlight and a larger platform (not glass) that is both sturdy and aesthetically designed to be left out in the room, and this scale fits my list. I highly recommend.

I like this scale, it seems accurate (each time I weigh myself it is the exact same number). It has a nice, sleek design. Upon receiving it I thought it was massive but once I put it on the floor I realized it was just about the same size as my other typically sized scale, just slightly wider and easier to step on with a normal stance. The only issue I have is that once the weight is displayed it beeps, too loudly in my opinion, and there no way to disable it. I ended up unscrewing the back panel and cutting the wires to the little speaker and now I’m much happier with the silence.

Some comments say the batteries are not included - they are. In the manual it says where the batteries are located in the packaging. Scale is sturdy, I am 6'1 and until I got the scale, hadn't weighed myself in many years - last time I checked, I was 420lbs and wanted the extra "room" in case I was heavier.

The platform is wide - much wider than a usual scale. Personally, I'd like it maybe an inch wider on either side. I do need to squish my legs together a pit to be centered on the scale, but, it's comfortable enough and I don't feel like I contorting to stand on it.

Looks nice and the screen is bright and easy to read. Even has a decimal point for a bit more info, i.e. 431.6lbs.

I recommend reading the short manual - that's how I found out the batteries were taped to the cardboard packaging because I didn't notice them at first. There is also a note about calibration - turn it on, it will say C on the display, read zero's and then turn off. Then you can stand on it again and get a reading. You only need to do this when you swap batteries or move it to a new location/change in flooring.
