I used the wind screen from the old BBQ which I fashioned from galvanized steel, hinges and rivets. It works perfectly with the new BBQ and folds flat for easy storage. The sizes of the two are identical and parts are interchangeable. I haven't cleaned it yet however it looks like the regulator and burner would have to be removed to use an oven cleaner on it. This isn't difficult.
The gas regulator is a bit different from the old one however and I haven't had any problems at all. The new regulator seems more adjustable than the old. I've had the new one for two weeks only so as of now it's been great.
The delivery came as promised and was delivered to the local rural US Post Office where we picked it up. That is perfect for a full time RV'er as we travel extensively. Call the P.O. first!

So I bought the old style replacements.(Amazon) it works much better now, like my old one..
The burner tube is better quality than my old one too. The regulator works differently, it has a master on/off valve as well as the high/low variable valve. I guess this is a safety measure so that people don't accidentally leave it on the low setting thinking they have turned it off because the lowest setting no longer has a detent for the off setting. I remove the regular valve, with the retainer pins so it will fit in the box I made for the old one. I have also made more retainer pins out of nails, with less tension so its easier to insert/remove, in case i loose them, i have a magnet glued to the inside of the box.
I have used it t number of times now and I like it. Should last a long time.
