Product Instructions:

1. First, you need to register and log in as a user in Smart Life App.

2. Next, turn on Bluetooth. There are two ways to add locks:

(1) On the add page, select Security Sensor-Door Lock (Bluetooth) to add and set the lock;

(2) Search the fingerprint cabinet lock on the automatic discovery page. (Note: When adding a lock, please use your fingerprint to activate the drawer lock so that the App can recognize and connect to your drawer lock.)

3. Long press to unlock. Tap and hold on the App unlock icon page to unlock. When the green light turns on, the unlock is complete.

4. Add fingerprint to unlock. You can enter the App fingerprint management page. Follow the App prompts to add fingerprints. After the fingerprint is successfully added, it can be unlocked.

BLUETOOTH, MECHANISM SUCK

I bought my unit a year ago but just installed it recently. I noticed that the bluetooth always disconnects from the locks even at 1 foot distance. So, automation set on the app won't work when the bluetooth is disconnected. Let's say you automate the lock to close at certain time but when the time arrives and your phone is far from the device, the lock won't lock.Second, there's no way you can lock from inside except Automatic Lock.There's a need to upgrade the bluetooth firmware if possible.ALSO, the mechanism stuck. I was locked from the outside. (see video)

I have the locked working for 3 years. No major problems. The finger print reader won't work if hands are wet, other than that no complains at all. Original batteries still working.

Update: THIS IS THE WORST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE. I BARELY MADE IT IN TO MY HOUSE SAFELY. THERE WAS GUNFIRE NEAR ME AND I HAD TO HIDE BEHIND A DUMPSTER UNTIL THIS WASTE OF MONEY DECIDED TO WORK

I normally don’t write reviews unless I am really compelled to do so. This is a horrible item. It took forever for the actual set up with the app. The fingerprint reader is horrible. It’s not even an option for me to use. The touchpad works correctly 70% of the time. That may be a score of passing in math but not the percentage I want when I am trying to get into my house. I rarely EVER use the app because the Bluetooth in this unit is HORRIBLE.

I wanted a little extra safety, convenience, and piece of mind - what I got: anxiety, a crappy lock, and the uncertainty of whether or not I would make it into my home safely.

An ABSOLUTE waste of money.

First time I ordered this lock it was great easy to set up and proram. Unfortunately after a few weeks the keypad and reader stopped working. Support service from the company was great and sent a replacement right away
The new door lock had an updated appearance and again was easy to set up and program. Now a few months later the print reader never ever reads and approves anyone's registered print and if you punch in any combination of the code even adding additional numbers to the code it unlocks so there now is zero safety provided with this lock and we are out of the support window. Looks like an old fashioned door knob is last option we have to be able to secure our home and I really wanted to love this lock but its durability has rendered that not possible

I saw these locks, so cheap and I bought two
The lock itself is fantastic with lots of features but one thing the seller did not disclose is that they are refurbished locks. My items have lots of markings on the back assembly and they look very worn from use.

As an update to my review, the seller apologized and offered to replace items for me. However, because I have installed them, this option was not possible so the seller gave a partial refund.
The seller has very good customer service and I will gladly recommend them.

 The app is awesome. You can set temp passwords, add/manage fingerprints, add voice command, add family members, logs entries, and so much more. It has a feature to auto lock which works great in my garage. The overall quality is great. Sturdy powder coated handles and smooth touch keypad make for a pleasing and modern experience. I’m very happy with the outcome. The only challenging part was shaving a little wood on the door to make everything fit better. You also have to drill a small hole above the main one, but that isn’t a big deal.

Got it Fast! Installed following the directions to a T, it sounds like it works and it acts like it works, but the locking mechanism would not lock. I even had a friend come over and try to install it as well and still would not lock.

This lock is pretty neat. I use it for my garage door into my house. It's nice to be able to use your finger print to open coming into the house from the car. Even better that it automatically locks. We leave the garage bays open often. It's great this will always remain locked for security. I've also locked myself out of the house several times having a keyed lock and going outside and not having keys. Installation isn't too bad. It takes minimal skill. I love the app as well. I may buy another for my vacation home.

Update: Not good at all for an outdoor lock. Even if it’s under an awning, the rain will still effect it. If there is any moisture on your hand or the fingerprint reader it won’t work. The touchscreen PIN pad also work work correctly when wet. If it’s raining I’ve been resorting to using the override key, which kind of defeats the purpose. Also, the voice that says “lock is open” or “operation failed” is pretty irritating and loud. Haven’t found a way to mute her. I may try and move it to an interior door, and see how that goes.

I’m a locksmith, and I decided to try this out on my back door. I’m writing this a few hours after installing. So far, so good. The app isn’t great as far as being user friendly, but it’s still easy enough to figure out. The override key is side mill so it would be very difficult for someone to bypass that way. I like to have a storeroom function(locks every time the door is closed) on my back door due to my kids forgetting to lock the deadbolt. This works well for that. When you gain entry using the fingerprint scanner or PIN, it unlocks for a few seconds and locks back. Overall, the lock seems to work well for the price. I’ll update if there is a malfunction.
