Charge them up for full capacity
I was Leary when I first got them but then I charged them from 60% to a full 100% and they’re fine if I had to choose between these and Beats Studio 3 I would choose the studio 3’s simply because I’m a bass head meaning the more bass the better ! These sound more crisp than beats but not enough for me to completely switch ! I’m actually mad I bought these lol for the price I thought they’d surpass beats in bass but no worries they still sound decent just not $500 decent ! Apple should put the option for more bass I get everyone doesn’t like alotta bass but most of us that spend this much definitely want as much bass as humanly possible lol ! I won’t be buying another pair I’ll stick to my Beats Studio 3’s ! Trust me I have every pair of Apple headphones and every pair of beats Apple is dropping the ball when it comes to bass it’s almost like they’re only pushing these to ppl who may not listen to hip hop because 9x10 ppl who listen to hip hop love super bass ! I really don’t care about the design either they look funny looking lol I guess these are good for opera , jazz type music idk ! If you’re looking for extreme bass like me these ain’t it stick to your original beats

Comfortable, aesthetic, perfect noise cancellation

I love my new AirPod Max headphones. I was sitting on this purchase for over a year due to the insane price tag. Yes, they're expensive- so when I saw they were $100 off on Amazon I got them. It was the lowest price I've seen it on sale for. These headphones are very much worth your money. The quality of the sound and hardware is impressive. When I first tried it out I was still a bit skeptical if it was worth my hard earned money... until I tested out the noise cancellation. I go to a very busy gym in a big city! It is very loud in the gym and the second I put these on with noise cancellation on mode- WOW! I told my husband I'm keeping these and not returning. Music sounds impeccable, it's comfortable and aesthetically pleasing to look at/wear. If you're on the fence about these consider your needs. I use these mainly at the gym and at my office cubicle job. I don't want to hear anyone or be distracted by other noises. They're comfortable for hours of wear and the battery lasts 20+ hours fully charged. I love them. They even stand up on their own when properly put in the smart case! Room saver :D

I wanted them from the day they dropped. Actually, I wanted them from the day they were announced in the Keynote presentation. I couldn’t afford them, because who can? When I got a job eight months ago that came with a generous home office stipend as part of the compensation package, I knew that these headphones would soon be mine.
The noise cancellation is out of this world. I used to wear Bose Quiet Comforts every single day, and thought that the noise cancellation on those was good. I’m not saying that it wasn’t good, but after experiencing that feature on these headphones, I could never go back. I also absolutely love that with the push of a button, you can switch from noise cancellation to transparency mode, which not only turns noise cancellation off, but uses a group of different microphones to bring the outside world into your headphones, almost like hearing aids. I am hard of hearing, and I really appreciate that feature.
The headphones are a little heavy, which took some getting used to. My Bose headphones were incredibly light and at times I forgot I was wearing them. You definitely don’t want to accidentally fall asleep with these on, because you will absolutely have a headache when you wake up. That is honestly the only negative thing that I can come up with, however.
I prefer my regular AirPods 3rd generation when I’m cleaning or walking my dog, as well as when I’m outside, but otherwise, these are my go to headphones. The microphone is incredible! All of my colleagues say that I sound super clear in meetings, and when I am FaceTimeing with family or talking to someone that I’m gaming with I’ve only heard the same. I generally use my Kraken Kitty headset for gaming, but I’ve definitely busted out the AirPods Max as well.
Obviously, there’s also no ignoring that if you’re already fully immersed in the Apple ecosystem, the convenience that comes with buying these instead of a different brand is undeniable. Being able to switch from your iPhone to your iPad to your MacBook and back to your iPhone during phone calls and while listening to music — seamlessly without having to worry about pairing — is incredibly smooth and enjoyable. It’s also great to be able to see your battery life on your screen. They also pair without issue with devices outside of the Apple ecosystem, like the Nintendo Switch!
I am well aware of the fact that most people can’t just up and decide to buy a set of headphones like this, but if you’ve had them in your cart, or on a wish list for a while, and you have been saving up, but afraid to make the leap, just go ahead and leap! You won’t regret it.

I’ve had these for about 5 months now and they are literally amazing, the stay charged for a very long time. They fit amazing, the only problem I’ve had is they can sometimes slide down my head because my had is little😂. Noise cancellation is superrrrr great. They are just a little heavier than beats but Very worth the money. And I just found out that the headphones part is magnetic :)

The design is beautiful and understated without any garish logo anywhere. They fit well with your other Apple products. The Digital Crown (that small dial on the top right) is a great way to adjust volume levels.
Siri integration is very useful to change volume levels, make or take calls, or otherwise use your iPhone or Macbook without touching it.
They pair automatically to all your devices via iCloud, and can auto-switch between them.
Now on to the main event: sound quality. They sound amazing. They have a clean sound profile that should please most users with a powerful but not overwhelming bass. You'll discover sounds you never heard before in your favorite songs.
If you subscribe to Apple Music, you also get Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio that makes it feel like the music is all around you.
Furthermore, they're great headphones for watching movies without bothering anyone around you. They're almost like a home theatre for your ears!
They're a bit on the expensive side, but that should tell you how much we love them to have bought them twice!
If you're invested in Apple's ecosystem and favor design, sound quality and ease of use, then these are definitely for you.
