Worked less than 30 days

This thing is junk. I had 2 door sensors and 2 water leak sensors. After less than a month. The hub stopped working. I can still see the sensors on the Apple home app, but since I use Alexa for my automations, the automations no longer work.I tried resetting the hub a couple different times, even tried a brand new door sensor, but the issue seems to be on the hub.

Good, not great. Loses connection every once in a while. I also got a dead one but luckily after proving it didn't work 10 ways to Sunday support sent a new one out so I'm happy about that. The Alexa integration doesn't work for sending voice notifications and it's useless but the system by itself and in it's app works great.
I use the light to tell my family I'm on calls and use it as a night light for the kids, so cool.
I have the button and door sensors. They work flawless as long as the hub doesn't lose connection.
The app is a little weird but setup is easy once you get the hang of it.
Not the most intuitive system but the size of the sensors is nice and small and when I eventually get home assistant running this should be a great starter set for sensors.
I'd buy more, but only from Amazon or the Aqara store since I had issues with their hub.

I bought the Aqara Hub and door sensor to act as a doorbell at my massage business. I had purchased at least three other doorbell sensors and none of them worked consistently. I’ll include a photo of all the doorbell sensors with the review. The Aqara setup works all the time. It also sends a notification to my phone whenever the door opens. This is especially valuable when I am out back and unable to hear the door chime. The notification is immediate with no delay so I can quickly return to the front desk whenever a customer enters. I am also using the temperature sensors in all for the rooms in order to be alerted when the temperature is not in a comfortable range. I am new to these type of automation devices, and this one was a great choice. If I had to make a suggestion, I would like to have more choices for the door chime, but the simple Ding-Dong works well enough, and you can set the volume so it’s audible but not distracting to customers.

I wish I knew about about Aqara sooner! I solely use aqara with Apple's HomeKit and I have no complaints about the connection. I believe hubs are the way to go especially hubs that don't need to be connected into Ethernet. I currently using motion sensor and door sensors, there is no delay HomeKit when using aqara devices to control other devices. I wish I would have used Aqara for all of my smart switches as well.

As far as the alarm feature it's nothing wild the notifications when you are out of the house is the nice part. My only negative with this hub is the footprint it takes up in the outlet, you need to have a free outlet since this hub uses one and blocks the send outlet.

I was looking for a water leak sensor. I found very good reviews of the Aqara one but I needed to buy this Hub. I looked into the new model of this Hub and found conflicting reviews. So I decided for this " older" model.
I'm happy with this one. The installation was easy. It never disconnected from my router. I use it for a moving and light sensor so when I open my bedroom door and it is dark and after 10 pm the lights will go on. That's also because I bought the outlet sensor and connected to my side lamp. It works seamlessly so far.

As per the leaking sensor I haven't been able to measure since no leaking on my basement happened so far.

This entire system is worthless. Nothing ever stays connected, I constantly get “offline” notifications. I definitely would never trust this thing for home security.

I really like the night light feature on this hub, as well as the design itself (I didn't think I would). I have to say, Aqara is the way to go for smart home items. I have many of their products and am quite happy with them. They are reliable, very easy to install and add to HomeKit, and the price is always reasonable. I have set up a home security system using their door/window sensors, two cameras and this hub. So far nothing goes offline or loses wifi, which is important.

This thing does what it's supposed to do. All the different colors or lights to choose from and reasons for them as well as sound options are a nice little touch. I plan to get more aqara devices to attach to this hub and I also recommend this system to others.

Como hub para productos Aqara funciona perfectamente. Se pueden agregar diversos dispositivos y este Hub los hará trabajar perfectamente. La parte del sistema de alarma deja que desear un poco en cuanto a su sonido, que es muy bajo y no se escuchará mucho más allá de la casa.

Se puede configurar con Alexa, Google Assistant y HomeKit de Apple, y también se puede agregar a Home Assistant para automatizaciones avanzadas.

Un detalle importante es que las automatizaciones, sea por la aplicación de Aqara o por los sistemas de casa inteligente, no permiten la desactivación del sistema de alarma, por lo que hay que buscar maneras de desactivar este con automatizaciones si así se requiere.

This is a Zigbee hub made for Aqara accessories. I bought it to support my first Aqara smart light switch. The RGB night light feature is a bonus which is very functional. Setting up the hub was easy and straight forward. The integration with Apple HomeKit is very good and smooth. Highly recommended.

The one word in the title says it all. I am very pleased with is purchase. The delivery was spot on so no complaints there. The installation using their app to HomeKit was smooth and quick. The devices work well and respond almost immediately when sent a command either manually or with Siri. I have purchased more of their devices and will again in the future as my HomeKit expands.

**Major Design Flaw..Covers up both electrical sockets in Canada. If they can design one that has everything the M1S has now or more that doesn't block the other outlet this would be a 10/10.**
