I recently got Luna and was enjoying it for a few days until I started experiencing an issue which had almost made me return it, im glad I didn’t! Writing this review to help out anyone who may be experiencing the same.
My Luna started emitting a noticeable ticking sound which isn’t that loud but extremely annoying when it’s quiet. Found the fix:
• open FOREO app (your device should already been connected/registered at this point)
• find Luna in the list of your devices and click on Luna’s homepage (with settings and main controls)
• click on the very 1st option ‘Device Info’, you will see device SN, warranty and firmware version
• your device is most likely on the older version, so all you need to do is click on the firmware version and if it’s outdated it will link to your Luna and download the most recent firmware (for me it had a pop up window with the list of fixes which included silent firmware fix)
• and Voilà! Enjoy your newly upgraded silent Luna. Hope this helps 🥰

The first thing I will note is the massage features, which you'll see in my video and my second and third photos. There are 5 massage pattern options, in addition to a full 16 levels of intensity. I get puffy eyes in the morning since I'm a stomach sleeper, and the first option, lymphatic drainage massage, quickly drains the puffiness away. Before using this device I would put on a firming eye cream and hoped that in a few hours the puffiness would be gone. Now, it takes just a couple minutes and the eye cream is a bonus. The second option is deep tissue massage. The area under my cheeks gets very tight, as does the area around that TMJ jaw joint, and this is a good cycle to use for that. The trigger point massage, which is technically good for the neck, doesn't seem too powerful for large neck muscles but is nice for the scalenes and neck muscles around the jaw that wouldn't react well to a larger massager. The shiatsu for forehead and temples is relaxing and feels awesome. Finally, the reflexology massage is one of my favorite points: I worked with an acupuncturist who always put a needle at that spot between my eyebrows because it was a general energy point. So, to be able to use this massager between my eyebrows feels energizing and invigorating. I feel similarly about the reflexology massage feature when placed in front of my ears.
Second, cleansing: as you see in the first photo I shared, the app allows you to program how many seconds per area of the face (the four areas are forehead/nose, right cheek, left cheek, chin area) and how intense (1-16) you want in each area. It's very customizable, especially if one has pain in one area of the face or if one area needs extra intensity. The little silicone brush points are very soft on the face and feel wonderful. They clean easily, as well. I am impressed by how this deep cleanse is already making my pores look smaller.
My only complaint about this device is the charger cord, which is very short, only about 18". I had a hard time setting it on a side table from my electrical outlet. Since the charge lasts, this can be mitigated, but I wish they hadn't tried to save money in this regard.
A top-of-the-line face massager, one that I didn't realize I needed! Total game changer for tension in certain areas of my face, puffiness in others, and a desire for a deep clean in my (now smaller) pores. Well worth the cost. Very highly recommended!!!

I was excited to try this face cleanser and massager, as I've never tried anything like it. It's absolutely wonderful for my needs and feels luxurious. For easiest use, download the app that goes with the Luna 4, and then you can operate it from your phone.
