I was excited to try amino acid shampoo. This shampoo really works - makes hair shiny, soft, healthy. I probably won't get another bottle after finishing this one because I don't really like the smell of it. And I think it's overpriced. Yes it works but there are many shampoos twice cheaper that work too! I didn't realize when ordering that shampoo contains licorice, cardamom, nutmeg, clove, patchouli. I'm not a fan of any of these scents. Please read through the ingredients before getting this shampoo to make sure you can tolerate all those scents listed there.

Been using this amino acid shampoo for a few weeks now and it's quite the find. My hair definitely feels stronger and has a nice sheen to it. The frankincense and sandalwood scent is a subtle touch of luxury to my morning routine. Though not the softest ever, the added moisture is noticeable. I appreciate the sulfate-free formula, but it doesn't lather as much as I'd like. It's a good switch for someone looking to add a natural boost to their hair care without the harsh chemicals.

I’ve heard such great things about goop products. This is my second time trying out a goop product and have been disappointed both times. This goop Beauty Amino Acid Shampoo is just OKAY! I do LOVE the sandalwood scent.

It promises great ingredients and results like:
this natural shampoo contains 11 amino acids to improve hair luster and hair shine. Hydrolyzed pea protein moisturizes, conditions, and smooths.

Clean Hair Care: Our beauty products are formulated without parabens, petroleum, phthalates, SLS, SLES, PEGs, TEA, DEA, silicones, or artificial dyes or fragrances. And our formulas are not tested on animals.

But it also promises to help hydrate, boost shine and moisturize. Also will help with shine, bounce and great texture. I truthfully felt my hair was a little dry and brittle almost after using it?? I do have wavy/frizzy/coarse hair, so maybe this wasn’t the right shampoo for my hair type.

At this time, I will be discontinuing use and would not recommend nor would I order again. IF I decide to try it again and have different results, I will definitely come back and update my review. But as of right now, I am pretty disappointed.

I like the smell, it’s light. It’s a really luxurious feeling shampoo that lathers nicely. It just doesn’t feel cheap, and it’s not cheap. Hard to say if it’s worth the money, but it is noticeably better than others

I have Long and wavy hair.
While i don't have to use too much of this shampoo to completely lather throughout my hair, it doesn't leave my hair feeling soft or smelling good.

The scent reminds me of ginger tea more than anything else. If that scent is up your alley then this might be for you.

I honestly wont be reordering, at a price point of $34 at time of order, there just isnt anything about this shampoo that makes me want to buy it again.
