Nice lights.
I have 6-1/2” cans so I had to get creative mounting them. Had to remove the wire mounts off my old lights and glue them to the new lights. I used E6000 and you must let it dry for at least 24 hours. Then I had to get some 8.5” goof rings to cover the holes. After installation setup was easy, colors are vivid, white colors are pleasing. Alexa integration works well. Light construction seems top notch. Highly recommended.

I have used Govee light strips for my TVs in the past and they worked great so when it came time to update my living room lights which used retro fittings I thought why not get color changing ones to help set the mood for movies. Upon seeing these I jumped on the purchase since they were at a good price compared to more expensive ones from other brands.
Install was very easy literally unscrewed the old led retro lights which used metal clips to hold them in place so seeing that these govee ones used a metal fin I was a bit skeptical that they would hold in place but since the install I’ve had them in a few weeks now and neither of them look like they are falling out at all, I even tug on them every now and again but they are very secured in place so just follow the instructions and you will be fine.
Adding the lights on the app was very easy thanks to how Govee designed the app, adjusting the colors are also easy and you can even group them together to make simultaneous adjustments at the same time. The only thing I will add that is a bit annoying is that the lights tend to lose wifi connection so it takes a few seconds for them to come up on the app again which delays being able to adjust the lights but a minor inconvenience.
Over all I’m happy with these lights and I may look into purchasing another set for another room.
