Update (2nd pair): the replacements I recieved have been holding up much better. I saw minimal threat pulling and have yet to rip a stitch. Taking up to 3 stars from 1 but still leaving a low review for lack of quality control. Hit or miss, you get a good pair and they aren't half bad.
The first use I saw threads stretching and knew these wouldn't last. By the end of the week I had several failed stitches on both pads. Sent back and waiting for replacement. If these do better I'll give an updated review but as is these are not meant for any type of real work.
