This is a very comfortable mask. When using a (lightweight) particular filter, I quickly stop noticing it. Other, heavier cartridges are more noticeable, but I think that's unavoidable. The straps take some initial adjustment to get right. After that, it's very easy to put on: top strap on the top back of the head, lower strap clicked behind the neck (and a little preening with the hair to not look too stupid).
Another plus is 3m has been in this business for a long time, and has a wide selection of filter cartridges for all applications. And the basic ones are reasonably priced and widely available (for example, a quick trip to Home Depot in an emergency).
