This filter is exactly what was needed. I wanted a gift for my brother who is an avid fly fisherman. Often, he finds himself in a situation where there is "water, water everywhere, and not a drop to drink", because he doesn't know if that water is safe. He hates to carry a heavy bottle of water with him when he's fishing, as it can throw off his balance in a fast-running stream. The Survivor Filter is the perfect solution...lightweight, easy to carry, and it does a great job of turning questionable water into potable drinking water. With the increasing concern about the potability of our fresh water streams, lakes and rivers, not to mention our urban water treatment programs, this is the perfect drinking water solution, not only in the outdoors, but also in an urban environment. Thanks for a great product and a great solution.
