I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE MARKERS! They are not sheer, nor are they thick/glumpy. I haven't done much layering with them but the coverage is great. The hues are yummy and FUN. Some of the colors are so close (too close actually) that you must do a swatch sheet and record the colors used for individual project! Repeat, do a swatch sheet, record your project colors. I had a problem with one of the markers, the tip pushed in and wouldn't come out—contacted the vendor and they fixed ASAP—reaching customer service was really easy. I use these to render before doing final projects— colored with acrylic paints or digitally. Just mixing things up a bit. 😉
Depending on the medium, I've had to clean the tips, but that was not hard...91% IPA on lintless paper towel. And marker works like new! This was my first time using this brand and I will try some of their other products. Also, don't pump directly on your project, the stiff tip will indent your medium! I use a scrap piece of acetate, if the color is still wet, use it to rewet the marker tip. ENJOY!!
