Got these because I need a bit more cargo space, since my Sun Ray Sidewalk Cruiser bike has the rear "truck" and a Wald front-mounted basket (the BIG one!), and I can only carry so much between them. Figured these panniers would help out on that score.

First off, they were relatively easy to put on, though I had to use pliers to force the lower attachment hooks to open just a tiny bit to fit around my rear "truck" lower framework to hold them in place. But once they were in place, they didn't shift or move much (which I was worried about considering that even over sidewalks, there's always a chance for bumps and pop-ups). They also are compact when folded up, but When open I have to be aware, as I can still bang my shins against them if I have to push off to get more speed.

As far as carrying stuff, the panniers are deep enough to hold a gallon jug, and so far with one trip back home from the grocers, nothing popped out or came loose. I am worried about heavy items, as the panniers did "bow outwards" when I put a gallon of milk in them. Looks like light to medium items are better suited for them, and I'll have to tie the heavy stuff on the "truck" bed or put them in the front basket.

Otherwise, they held up well so far, and haven't come off. They store compactly enough when not in use, and don't impede my pedaling too much.

Would recommend if you're looking for a bit of spare cargo space for your bike, so long as you keep in mind the weight of the items, and where you mount these panniers on your rear. Thanks to Bushwhacker for making these, as this disabled veteran will use these often!
