I had a power strip that was cruise appropriate but it died on me. I like the style of this version for a couple of reasons. It only takes on plug and doesn't cover the outlets like my other strip did. Also the cord is long which helps for some ships that don't have many outlets and you're stuck with your device on one side of the room and you on the other. The only gripe I have is how heavy it is. It is considerably heavier than any other plug I've had. Not anything I can't work around but with all the other items in my travel backpack this just makes it a bit more uncomfortable to carry.
