I bought 3 different phone wallet holders, and this was the winner.
After losing my ID and a credit card while in Vegas, due to just sticking them in my pocket and them falling out when pulling out my phone, I decided I needed a solution.
While I only intend to use this for nights out when I don't want to lug my full wallet around, I used this for several days to test out with my MagSafe phone case.
The magnet is not the strongest - it can slip off, unlike my pop socket MagSafe pill-shape grip - but it's actually just fine. It didn't slip off when pulling out of my pocket and normal handling, only when fiddling and picking at it.
It comfortably holds my license plus one or two credit cards, which is just right. I could see it loosening up if normally holding 3 cards and then switching to two, but if that happens, i can always slip in a gift card or something to keep it snug. For my test period, both 2 and 3 cards held just fine, no concern of cards slipping out. The little notch makes it possible to push a card out if needed. You could probably do two cards and a couple of emergency bills, but not more than that. Find another hidey hole for your cash.
It looks good, and doesn't add excess thickness. I was considering the pop socket MagSafe wallet plus grip, but that would def be too much bulk. On a night out, I'm not using a pop socket grip anyway.
This couldn't be my "daily driver" because I usually have to carry my license, my concealed permit, personal credit card, 2 work credit cards, etc. But for a minimalist day when I can leave all those extra cards at home, this holder is perfect.
