There are plenty of reviews on this. I just need to stress how awesome it is.
I hike a lot with my camera equipment. I’m used to my camera bouncing along on my hip at the end of the camera strap…. Or carrying it in one hand….. or two hands folded over it against my chest. It seemed like that was normal. Well it’s not. I LOVE this product! It is so comfortable while carrying my camera with ANY lens attached. I don’t even notice it when I have my 28-200 attached. With my 200-600 attached WITH hood I just gently hold the end of lens and it rides comfortably for miles. I typically hike 5-12 miles 3-5 times per week.
I think it even improves the load distribution of the pack since it moves 1/2 (roughly) the load to front.
I really wish I had this years ago. Soooo worth the price. Really well made. Works with any of the little square arca Swiss type mounts. I have 3 different brands… none are peak design but they all work fine.
