Edit 2020: The lantern is great, but I don't understand why the price went up from just last year. Why the increase, amazon?
Been using it every night for a month now and never needed to change the cheap batteries. Nice quality. Only downside is it isn’t very light weight. 6 d batteries weigh it down. If that’s not a problem you’ll really like this. If the weight is a deal breaker, get the 30 day version instead, which uses half the amount of batteries making it weight less. But I like this 60 day lantern. It lasts that long assuming you use fresh batteries and never turn it off. Even if used every night and turned off during the day the 60 days will last 120 days. That’s 4 months on one set of batteries.
