The s hook on the bottom bungee does not fit larger diameter racks. Without the tension from the bottom bungee, you have to rely on the hooks at the top, which just sit on the top bar of the bike rack. This is fine for smooth riding, but if you hit a bump exactly right (meaning exactly wrong) the baskets may bounce up, ejecting anything in the baskets onto the ground. Luckily, when this happened to me, the item that bounced out was my backpack, and everything inside was safe. I’m not sure if I’ll keep these bags or try to Jerry rig a different system to up the tension, or get a different rear rack.
