Customer Review

I'm a flashlight junky and wanted a premium light for hunting and tracking. This light was recommended in many review articles because of the bright light and soft white light for easier blood identification. I was excited to receive and test the light but left completely disappointed. Note, I do not have a light meter to quantify my comments below but compared this light to several others with similar stated lumen output.

The Great:
- Lightweight and a good size.
- Comes with accessories including a hat clip.
- Website description was correct but did not adequately represent how to operate the light.

Disappointing:
- Instructions were slightly confusing, small font, and did not always work as stated.
- The standard rear button is great, but only activates the Turbo (full brightness) light mode.
- All light controls are done with the small side button. It's awful. You can't feel it through gloves, it's soft and easy to press, and there is no way to lock the light on to prevent cycling.
- The Turbo brightness is great, but will only last 7 minutes. Then, the light drops to 450 lumens.
- The beam just isn't as good as my Anker flashlights or even my $5 AA pocket lights. It has a bright and concentrated center with no clear edge. The broad light is decent, but not very bright. There is no adjustment on the focus, so you can't zoom or cast wide depending on your need.
- The standard light levels were not as bright or clear as the other flashlights.

With poor controls, only 7 minutes of full brightness, and a less-than-impressive lower light setting, I can't recommend this light. It's not worth $50 to me. Sorry, I wanted to like it.
