UPDATE: Airscape followed up with me, saying they were sorry I was disappointed with the purchase and saying that while the manufacturing tolerances are better with the metal canisters, their ceramic canisters may be loose but still provide a seal. I bought 3 of the ceramic canisters: 1 is fine, 1 is loose but I believe them it might still steal, the 3rd is really loose and I doubt it. They offered a partial refund which I initially told them I didn't need. But they sent it, so I used it to buy another metal canister -- which I know is a consistently great product.. So, your mileage may vary and I love the metal canisters. Thanks for your responsiveness Airscape, it's appreciated. Original Review: I've had a metal airscape container that I've used for coffee for a couple of years and love it. So I thought I'd get 3 ceramic Airscape containers for dried fruit and nuts. These are entirely different products and they don't seal anywhere near like the metal container. (I would give the metal container 5 stars in all categories.) The inner seal lid is wobbly and doesn't seal to the side of the container. I suppose it's hard to manufacture ceramic to the exact sizes of the metal container. They may look nicer on a shelf, but if you stick to the metal containers you will be MUCH happier with your purchase. I am very disappointed in this purchase.
