If you enjoy Scythe, this is an absolute no-brainer! A friend of ours brought this to our regular game nights, and we played through the entire 8-game campaign. It was a ton of fun! I'll keep my review concise to avoid giving away any spoilers.

There are carry-overs from game to game (money, upgrades), and these change the gameplay as you go. There are also surprises and story elements that are unveiled between games, which add a really cool almost-legacy aspect to this expansion. (You can play through it over and over, but the surprises are no longer surprises.) The plot twists were great!

We had no idea who would win until the very end. And we loved every minute of playing Rise of Fenris. Highly-recommended!
