I work at a restaurant and sometimes end up wearing a face mask (due to the pandemic) for 12+hours a day. This has led to blackheads, pimples, and cystic acne spots on my chin. The cystic acne spots were my biggest concern since they took weeks to surface and heal. It wouldn't be SO bad, but the cystic acne was leaving behind these terrible purple/red scars that took even longer to fad than the actual cysts. This continued to be an issue until amazon brought these patches into my life.
I cannot tell you how amazing these are. I know they are not cheap, but if it keeps my skin happy I will continue to buy them. Every shift i work I wear one or two across my chin in the areas where I tend to develop the cystic acne. I recommend wiping any lotion or oil off your skin prior to putting it on to make sure it stays on. Once on it blends fairly well with the skin so that even if someone caught you with one on it is not an eyesore.
I take mine off after my shifts and my skin is never irritated although you may want to wipe off the residue it leaves behind. The product did not effect whether my skin is dry or oily. Whereas some acne products require daily application, this one does not (in my experience) to keep your skin clear. In my opinion, you can use these as preventative or to treat current skin problems.
I have used these as needed for months now. Between this and the Glossier solution my cystic acne is long gone which is giving me a chance to let the scars fade! Although I wish there was more than 10 per pack, I do not think I could find anything negative to say about this product.
