My hair is healthy and mostly virgin, but I want to pamper it as I grows it out. This treatment definitely "coats" the hair but I wouldn't call it heavy or moisturizing. It's a protein treatment for repair and strength. My hair felt coarser and took more leave in moisturizing products after drying. My hair was by no means visibly dry it just felt coarser and not as soft as usual post wash. Maybe I was supposed to use my normal conditiner before this treatment? IDK the bottle is Korean and I didn't feel like checking full directions online. I used it after shampoo left in for 30 minutes then rinsed out and did my normal routine. My hair was still visibly shiny and manageable nonetheless. Definitely use a moisturizing product after you rinse this out. I'm impressed that it had such a noticeable effect unlike other strength treatments I've used by redken and olaplex. This would be great for those damaged by bleach and color. Just don't be afraid to follow up with more moisturizing products bc this is a protein treatment not a moisture mask. The added protein coating your hair will soak it up. I like this product and am going to try their leave in version.
