Bamboo wood makes an interesting hairbrush. It works great, doesnt cause breakage and is very light in the hand. The only issue I have had is that the handle seems very short, I guess compared to my old brush, but I am sure I will get used to it. It is just unwieldy using it on my very long hair with such a short handle.
