Although never a tea drinker, lately I've wanted some good iced tea. Saw all of the glowing Luzianne reviews. At the same time got some Celestial Seasons Lemon Zinger & Bigelow Lemon lift black tea to do a taste comparison. No sweetener was added to any of them. Both taste very good. The Bigelow has just a slightly stronger black tea flavor.

Luzianne is lighter tasting & really refreshing. I can see how Southerners swear by it for sweet tea. On a hot day, it'd be hard to have enough to pour. (Luckily, there's a family size tea bag that makes 2 Qts.)

One thing mentioned is how clear Luzianne is compared to other teas. Here's proof. Both were made 1/2 with water & 1/2 Crystal Geyser sparkling water. One on left was peach flavored. As you can see, Luzianne is clear. (BTW, if you like sparkling iced tea, Mexico's Topo Chico is fantastic. Lots of nice carbonation & very refreshing.)

Honestly, would be happy with all three, but I bought enough Luzianne to last me until the end of the year. Can't wait for the hot summer days when I can brew sun tea with it.

Am avoiding sugar, but will make a glass just to see what those Southerners are raving about.

If I was visiting someone in the South & this was served at a restaurant or their home, I wouldn't object.
