I am undecided if to keep this, but thought it was worth it to let others know why. The bow in front is much smaller than in the photo, so the looped parts are higher and more in the center of the chest, with the placement a little bit odd. The tails of the bow are smaller and do not cover the entire torso as pictured. The net effect is that rather than a high-fashion, statement making item, this is more like a Mom suit. The material is thick and the coverage is good -- if you want a Mom suit. It has a Lands End vibe. The L is about a 10-12 so it fits somewhat loosely on a size 8. Neither flattering nor hideous, and not going to make any waves at the pool, or anywhere else.
