I bought these wipes for years before covid where it became almost impossible to find them. I only recently started buying them again and I must say, I don't like the changes to the wipe they seem to have made over the years.
The wipe itself seems to hold much less liquid than they did previously, meaning they dry out very quickly when wiping your hands or an object down. Due to the limited moisture it doesn't really feel like you're properly cleaning with it.
Thinking that I may've gotten an older batch, I tried adding a half cup or so of 70% IPA to combat the dryness. It did help some, but it seems like the lack of moisture absorption / retention of the wipe itself is really to blame for the dry feeling of the wipes.
