I ordered this slicer because it advertised a 5” longer handle. With joint issues, I needed a longer handle for leverage, pressure and support. Sadly the cheese slicer has a shorter handle than advertised. It is only 3.5”. The cutting bar/roller will only accept a 3.75” block of cheese. Otherwise it could be fine.
I found it difficult to slice the cheese front to back, also left to right. I decided to try slicing top to bottom because I was able to add pressure with my left hand. It worked great!
