It's hard to install/remove. Usually you only need to do it once, but dust gets in easily, and that COMBINED with the fact that it's hard to install/remove is a problem. After a year, the clear plastic coating started to peel off and get all over everything I touch. I find it in my bed, on my computer desk. Everywhere. And it sticks to you. Otherwise I love it, and it looks really good, but it doesn't last and it's really just for looks. Sometimes products don't actually have gold foil on them and it's painted or something, but this is actually metallic and perfectly glossy like the photos.
Added bonus: when the sun hits it in my car it reflects back the butterfly wing design across the dashboard (I usually have it mounted on the dash for GPS)
